Fom Austin to New York to Guatemala, Teysha‘s Creative Director Sophie Eckrich is, without a doubt, one of the most on-the-go individuals we have ever met. Which means the contents of her handbag are probably pretty telling.
Read on for Sophie’s expert tips for staying prepared for anything and everything while on the road and, afterwards, head here to get the full scoop on her life outside the terminal.
“I am constantly on the go, so I always like to be prepared for what the day brings. I love to have my headphones on me so I can listen to my favorite podcasts or music while navigating NYC. Always, always need to have chapstick with me. A pen and my notebook to brainstorm and stay organized.
I also generally bring my lunch and snacks with me for the day – my go to’s are fruits like grapefruits and apples, and then I’ll make a bunch of things like quinoa, sweet potatoes, beans, veggies, ahead of time and mix it up to make a little power bowl for lunch.
One of my favorite things about being in NYC is the time to read and relax on the subway, and I went back to an old favorite from my time in Chile, Love Poems by Pablo Neruda – so sweet and lovely!! And of course my magical phone, which allows me to be in constant communication with my team who is spread out all over the states and Central America.”
