Can we talk a minute about leopard print? Like why does it look exactly (ok, so not exactly, but basically exactly) like cheetah? I can’t tell the difference and yet the variances are apparently so significant that it warrants a distinction. Just ask this girl planning her Halloween costume – the horror of being dressed as a cheetah and confused for a leopard!
I wore the above ensemble to set last week (funny story about that doggie bag for another time) and later got into a convo about what makes the almighty leopard a leopard. As it turns out, I am not the only one challenged when it comes to distinguishing between black spots. In hopes of not offending any biologists in future conversations on the subject, we put together the following (very technical) guide:
Cheetah = black polka dots
Leopard = Pacman spots
Done. I got you covered girrr!
The horror of being dressed as a cheetah and confused for a leopard!
