Our love for MacKenzie-Childs is anything but a secret, so when they reached out about styling a garden party and creating a summer margarita recipe for their June catalog, our answer was pretty obvious: We’ll bring the tequila.
Styling the party was easy. We used all of our MacKenzie-Childs enamelware (like this pinch bowl) to house the ingredients and then mixed it with crystal and wood elements. We love the way wood and crystal ground the whimsy of the MC pieces and really make them stand out without getting lost.
We threw real flowers next to faux bouquets in a mixture of MacKenzie-Childs vases (this little guy is my absolute fave) and clear glass ones, threw in some oversized dominoes (obsessed) and our new favorite bar book and called it a party.
Probably the best part about the whole thing was that bystanders kept coming by while we were shooting and asking where we got every single thing. Friends who had never heard of MacKenzie-Childs left with a newfound obsession and those who had heard of the brand left with a whole new appreciation for the tableware.
