Looking to impress your date with your bartending skills this Valentine’s Day? We’ve got you covered.
This recipe is perfect as a pre-dinner drink for those who have bought in to that whole Cupid thing, but also serves as a pretty killer dinner cocktail for those of us who have de-friended V-Day altogether. No matter which camp you find yourself in, grab a bottle of our new favorite gin and play bartender.
1.5 oz. Zephyr Gin
.75 oz. Blanc Vermouth
.05 oz. Aperol
.25 oz. Honey Syrup
.5 oz. Lemon Juice
1 Sprig of Mint
1 Blackberry (muddled)
Muddle the blackberry in the bottom of a cocktail shaker. Add Zephyr Gin, vermouth, Aperol, honey syrup, lemon juice and shake 4-5 times. Strain into an old fashioned cocktail glass filled with ice. Garnish with a slice of lemon and a mint sprig.
