A Caffeine Buzz…For Your Skin

We’ve always loved coffee. We’ve bought into cold brew, put espresso in our chocolate chip cookies (thanks for the tip Neimans!), and have waxed poetic on multiple occasions as to why we can’t go a day without a little Joe to tide us over. We are convinced it is the key to our success. However, with all this enthusiasm it never really occurred to us to incorporate our drug of choice into our beauty routine.

Enter Frank Body.

Frank is an Australian made coffee-based skincare range that uses the natural caffeine in coffee to target cellulite, stretch marks, psoriasis, eczema and other skin conditions to leave your skin feeling soft and supple.  We hate to say I told you so, but we always knew coffee was the key to all things good.

We had the pleasure of hanging with the founders of Frank Body a few weeks back and peppering them with all of our enthusiast questions.  Sure enough, as soon as we started talking and sampling the coffee-centric line, it was as if we had unleashed our inner kid in a very caffeinated candy shop. We are talking an entire product line – including their infamous coffee body scrub – built around our best friend Joe.  Needless to say, we made it our mission to try each and every one of them.

With all of this coffee goodness, it would be easy to go into full on scent overload, so we’ve boiled the line down to a few of our favorites to get you started – the lip scrub (ummmm, this one just seems obvious), the creamy cleanser and the body scrub (cue the coffee covered selfie).

The takeaway? There’s nothing a little caffeine can’t cure…even if that nothing comes in the form of cellulite.

  • Perfect timing! I just tried Lush’s Cup O’ Coffee face mask for the first time this morning and loved it! I’ll have to add Frank’s version to my list once I run out of the Lush option, especially since I see from the ingredients it’s talc-free. Thanks for sharing!
