I’m not usually one to look back. I’m always looking forward to the next thing (in this case, the New Year) and, for the most part, I choose to live in the moment and relish what is to come, rather than focus on a past I can’t change. But in this case, 2013 has been a pretty special year for me and I can’t help but look back and smile at what a roller coaster it has been. The launch of TKC played no small part in that. I’m grateful to have lived another year I can proudly look back on and to have been given the opportunity to share it with all of you! Thank you, thank you, thank you for all of your support. So. Blessed.
This time of year, all you hear about are these “New Year’s Resolutions.” Personally, I’m not fond of the term. I associate it with an act I’m resolved to do until about January 26th (maybe February 2nd, if I’m feeling extra resolute) and then promptly set aside to focus on something else. So I stopped making them. Instead, I look toward the new year, head high, believing “I’ll just work on being better…overall.” So let’s do just that. Let’s all Jump into 2014 with a fresh start. Holding onto the parts of 2013 we LOVED, letting go of what we didn’t, and being open to the new experiences and people that are sure to come in 2014.
